SyteLine Field Service-Plus is a module in SytleLine ERP that addresses many of the broad service industry’s business requirements, including Call Center Incidents, Dispatching/Scheduling to Contracts for one-time or recurring on-site maintenance and overhauls, as well as equipment rental and in-house Preventive Maintenance with downtime scheduling on your Work Centers/Resources. All picking, packing, shipping, returns and invoicing are also handled by this module.

Here are some tips on how you can use SyteLine Field Service-Plus to boost your business’s productivity:

Service Parameters – Call Center tab:

Synchronizing these data fields on the Incident and Service Order Request saves time and effort

Incident/SRO Synch Setting: if a box is checked, the two forms (Incident and SRO) will be synchronized and a dominant (driver) form is chosen for each setting:

  • Status Code

  • Priority Code

  • Lead Partner\Owner

  • Department

  • Notes

  • Reason/Resolution

  • Description

  • Contract

Service Parameters – Unit tab:

For any manufacturer that services their products after sales, this feature will generate an “as built” BOM for each Serial # shipped and attach it to a Unit in the Field Service Plus database – cool!

Auto Build Unit Configuration:

This flag is used in conjunction with the Auto Create Unit On Shipment flag. If this flag is turned on, the complete unit configuration will be created as the item is shipped.
This process copies the entire BOM of Serial-tracked Items, which can add processing time to Order Shipping for deep BOMs.

Auto Create Unit On Shipment:

If checked, any serial tracked item that is shipped will create a unit record automatically.
